I absolutely love cake. And so does my daughter. We have random cake dates, buy cakes for fun, and find anything to celebrate so that we can order cake! So when I heard about the Cake Explosion Box from Cake Rush by Flower Chimp, I was excited. It’s such a fun reason to have cake!
I’ve seen and heard about the Cake Explosion Box from Cake Rush, and I think it’s an absolute genius idea to add a little extra and explosive “surprise” to a celebration. You’ll not only get the usual cake, but also a whole lot of additional gifts of wonder and magic — a flurry of colorful butterflies springing out at you as soon as you open the box; personalised pictures and messages; and lots of squeals, giggles and laughter.
The Cake Explosion Box comes with cake (of course), and you can choose a selection of Rainbow Cake, Chocolate Fudge, Pandan Gula Melaka or a Walnut Carrot Cake. The Cake Explosion Box was a little surprise for my daughter, Ava — I knew she would really love the fun, magical, whimsical moment of rainbow-colored butterflies fluttering out of a cake box. And boy, was she amazed! So amazed that she paused for a second in shock, and then giggled and shouted, “Again! Again!”. And the great part about this box is that you can actually pack all the butterflies back into the box and enjoy the colorful spectacle again and again to your heart’s content.
I got the Rainbow Cake because it’s my little girl’s favourite kinda cake — it was moist and not too sweet, and had berries between its rainbow layers and colorful heart-shaped sprinkles on top. The cake is a 4″ cake, so just enough as a special gift for one (or in our case, for the both of us to share).
