Vlog #2: Here’s how I spent a day soaking in the sun and all those rock vibes at the Hard Rock Hotel Penang.
And here I am, back in Hard Rock Hotel Penang — and feeling like a 80’s rockstar. I get to spend days in the pool, the spa, and rocking on a fender.
I took a guided tour with my mum and her group of friends to explore the Vietnamese mountain town of Da Lat for 2 days. We had a lovely time in cooling weather, and this was our itinerary.
I spent three days in the lovely Vietnamese coastal town of Nha Trang — and had days visiting the many natural, historical, cultural and religious sites; and then spending some time on the beach, and exploring its underwater treasures.

Here’s how I spent 3 days in the Japanese city of Osaka — visiting castles, temples, walking streets, and just basking in the neon lights and colorful signboards that is Osaka.
My half day visit to Nara — where I got to hang out with hundreds of deer, visit some of Japan’s most ancient temples, and dine on delicious grilled eel. Oh, did I mention the adorable deer?
A half day visit to see the lovely town of Himeji — the famous Himeji Castle, and the autumn night lights of the Koko-en Garden.
An account of unexpected situations that I’ve encountered on my travels — here’s how I got ripped off by a tuk tuk driver while in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
My lazy days exploring Colombo. I visited a few local sights, ate a whole lot, and slept in most of the time. My itinerary was definitely less hectic than the actual city!
I had a lovely time at the southwest coastal town of Sri Lanka, doing what everyone here does — surfing! And when not surfing, I am eating the delicious local food, chatting with the locals, and just chilling by the beach.
A short video of the fun I had while sailing the seas on Star Cruise’s Superstar Gemini.
Cruising the seas with Star Cruise’s Superstar Gemini from Port Klang to Phuket and Langkawi. It was fun in the sun, and lots of relaxation.
