Vlog #13: Farm-Stay with a Local Japanese Family in Hitoyoshi-Kuma

PARLO TOURS

The Japanese farm-stay I experience in Hitoyoshi-Kuma will probably always be one of the most amazing experience I will have on my travels. It was so fun staying with a local family, getting to know the amazing people of Hitoyoshi, and feeling like I’ve found a home away from home (despite it being for only one day). Here’s the fourth part of my five-part vlog series on my on my trip around Kyushu Island with Parlo Tours — one that brought me to the small town of Hitoyoshi-Kuma. Come watch me have the time of my life! And do subscribe to the channel for more of my Kyushu series, and share it with friends and family who are heading to this part of Japan soon!

  1. Hi, I am preparing a trip to Japan and I got inspired by your blog. I was also thinking on doing one day stay in a farm-stay but I am not sure where to find them. Could you help me giving me some suggestions or letting me know how you did it?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ana

    • Hello Ana,

It’s quite difficult to arrange a farm stay by yourself as alot of them only know Japanese, and websites are probably in Japanese as well. I happened to go thru a travel agency who did the arrangement for me. Perhaps you can ask around the travel agencies in your area if anyone can asssist you with a farm stay. Hope this helps!

      Mynn.
