Vlog #25: A vlog of the educational and enlightening trip I made to Japan’s Hiroshima — a city that rose again after the atomic bomb devastation of 1945.
Visiting Japan’s Hiroshima and looking for some of the most important things to see and eat in the city? Here’s a list to make the planning easier.
Vlog #18: A one day adventure to all my favourite places in Busan! All thanks to the Korea Tourism Organization and Imagine Your Korea.
Here’s my suggested itinerary for a one day visit to Busan. It’s a collection of my favorite places, and a slow-paced introduction to the city for my partner, who was in Busan for the first time.
Vlog #17: Part 2 of 2 of my vlog in Jeonju and its Hanok Village — and I also visited the Naejangsan National Park to see its gorgeous autumn foliage. All thanks to the Korea Tourism Organization and Imagine Your Korea.
An island that is known as one of the three most beautiful scenic spots in Japan, and a floating shrine that is said to be an icon of the country — what’s not to love about Miyajima?
It was an eye-opening trip. Hiroshima is a city with a deep tragic history, but we learned of its rise from the ashes, becoming the beautiful and peaceful place it is today.
Happy 5 years to the blog! It’s been a wonderful 5 years of sharing and traveling — and here’s my yearly travel reflections and favourite moments of the year.
I had a lovely day exploring the port city of Tamsui in New Taipei City. And then come night, I visited the city’s Christmasland for a Christmassy lights extravaganza.
My experience witnessing the most beautiful autumn foliage at one of the most popular places to see it in South Korea — the Naejangsan National Park.
A lovely autumn’s weekend in the city of Yeosu — visiting beaches, parks, local sights, and having one of the best South Korean meals… raw crabs!
Here’s how I spent 3 days in the Japanese city of Osaka — visiting castles, temples, walking streets, and just basking in the neon lights and colorful signboards that is Osaka.
A 3-day itinerary in Okayama — and I spent it in the midst of gorgeous gardens, stunning castles, shrines and temples; and the most awesome food… AND surrounded by the colors of autumn.
Travel Video: Here’s a video montage of all my favorite moments while searching for autumn colors at the Daisetsuzan National Park, and exploring Hokkaido’s capital city, Sapporo.
Sapporo is modern, dynamic and compelling; and during my visit in autumn, beautiful. I only had one day in the city, so I made use of my time to sample what Sapporo is famous for; the beer, the food and the shopping.
Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, is the first place to witness the autumn foliage in the country… and the Daisetsuzan National Park is the area to catch that first glimpse.
