Sliq Clinic: Clearer Skin with the MedLite Pigment Treatment (Ongoing Treatment Update)

Recently, I have been getting treatment to lesson the amount of sun spots and freckles on my skin. I’ve had freckles since I was a child (and I really did not mind it back then), but in recent years it has been getting worse. I believe that it is due to my constant exposure to the sun — for work, and during travels; and some of these spots have began to protrude and look more prominent on my skin.

I went to Sliq Clinic to get it checked out, and finally decided to get on the MedLite Pigment Treatment. You can read about my first session and consultation here:- Sliq Clinic: Off with Those Sun Spots with the MedLite Pigment Treatment.

The MedLite Pigment Treatment
I have undergone three sessions of the MedLite Pigment Treatment so far. The MedLite Pigment Treatment features a PhotoAcoustic Technology that uses wavelength light to shatter unwanted pigments and break up melanin that forms it — thus lightening, and eventually, removing these pigments on the skin. Basically, it is a laser treatment that can help remove sun spots on the skin, leaving it smoother and clearer — glad that it looks like its working for me!

An Update on My Skin
I am really glad that the progress after three sessions of the MedLite Pigment Treatment is clearly visible. Looking at the comparison pictures, my freckles and sun spots have reduced tremendously, and are definitely much lighter. My skin is also looking much healthier — some of the wrinkles have cleared up and there is a slight radiance to it as well. I honestly couldn’t see the difference in the mirror, but the skin analysis on the computer have proven that the treatment is going as hoped for.

As for the laser treatment, it has been relatively fuss-free and pain-free (just a slight stinging pain during treatment), and my skin has been responding well without negative side effects, like rashes or extreme itchiness.

My Thoughts So Far
I still have a couple more treatments to go, and I am pretty satisfied with the results after three sessions. Skincare is an ongoing and continuous process, and perfection can hardly ever be achieved. I have to admit that I love being under the sun, and sunbathing, and traveling — and therefore will always be exposed to its UV rays. The freckles and sun spots may come back; but I believe that it is best to get them treated early before they become worse. It will probably take longer (and much more expensive) procedures to rectify the damage then! I’ll be blogging again about the condition of my skin once I’ve completed the MedLite Pigment Treatment.
