The beautiful Miyajima Island is definitely a place not to be missed; especially if you’re traveling to Hiroshima. The island is known for its beautiful views of the ocean, and especially for the bright red torii gate that stands in the middle of the sea. Unfortunately, the gate was under construction during my visit! It didn’t deter me from visiting though, because I still got to spend my 2 days and 1 night on the island exploring the many temples, admiring the scenery, and soaking in the onsen. Maybe someday, I’ll come back again some day to see the torii gate in all its glory. But for now… here’s a vlog of my visit to this wondrous Japanese island. Thanks for watching!
