Vlog #35: The Old Streets of Yingge and Sanxia, Taiwan

On my visit to Taiwan’s district of New Taipei City, I also took a day to explore the small faraway towns of Yingge and Sanxia. These small towns are not as famous as many other towns in the district because it is pretty harder to get to — it involves a long train ride filled with Chinese characters (that I can’t read)! But a new MRT line is in the works, so very soon… more people will be coming to see the lovely old street of Yingge lined with ceramic workshops; and the other lovely old street of Sanxia lined with pretty red-bricked buildings. I had a fun time being brought around the town of Sanxia by a local, who told me stories of his childhood and the history of this tea town. So here’s my vlog of my day in Yingge and Sanxia. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to like and subscribe!
