Happy 5 years to the blog! It’s been a wonderful 5 years of sharing and traveling — and here’s my yearly travel reflections and favourite moments of the year.
Vlog #6: Here’s what I went through during my visit to the Adventure Park at Berjaya Hills — and my experience on Southeast Asia’s longest zipline!
I went diving in one of the most beautiful places — Maldives. And while underwater, I saw one of the most majestic creatures — the manta rays.
My experience surfing in Cherating, a small beach village on the east coast of Malaysia. I learned to surf here, with the Cherating Point Surf School.
I had a lovely time at the southwest coastal town of Sri Lanka, doing what everyone here does — surfing! And when not surfing, I am eating the delicious local food, chatting with the locals, and just chilling by the beach.
And the blog is now 4 years old! Here’s the list of my 12 months of adventures in 2018 — a resolution I made at the end of 2017 to experience a new adventure every month.
Vietnam might be relatively unknown as a diving destination, but I had a lovely time exploring Nha Trang’s underwater with Rainbow Divers Nha Trang — even if it was just 2 dives, and only for a day.
My experience surfing in Bali’s Kuta Beach as a beginner — with lots of paddling, falling and tumbling; and the proud feeling of catching those few breaks!
Bali, one of the most beautiful and exotic islands in the world — and it goes all the way down to its underwater world too. In Tulamben, I dived a wreck, saw a statue underwater, and swam with a school of humpheads.
I loved my visit to the ancient garden city of Suzhou, China. However, I had my share of bad experiences (but of course more lovely ones) — so here’s a list of what not to do to make your trip to Suzhou… wonderful!
The blog is 3 years old! Thank you for walking with me for yet another year. Here are my travel reflections for 2017 and my countdown of my favorite moments!
Lokrum island makes a lovely day trip out of the city. From monasteries and forts, natural wonders and the sea, and a wealth of history — there is so much to explore in this small island.
During my visit to Ho Chi Minh City; I crawled through tunnels, floated along a river, got lost in history, whizzed through the crazy traffic and ate, and ate, and ate. Here’s a list of things not to miss when you visit the city!
Over my five days in the city of Guilin in southern China’s Guangxi province, I got to witness the sublime beauty of its stunning scenery, karst landscape, winding rivers and cultural treasures. My ancestors were from this province, so it was a surreal experience going back to the ‘motherland’.
An account of my experience ziplining through the rainforests of Langkawi — the anticipation, the excitement, the adrenaline rush, and that buzzing wind through my hair.
Though somewhat touristy nowadays, the charming city of Luang Prabang still manages to retain its historic past in its gilded wats and faded Indochine buildings. Here’s my list of things to do when you’re visiting this former capital of Laos.
