Sapporo is modern, dynamic and compelling; and during my visit in autumn, beautiful. I only had one day in the city, so I made use of my time to sample what Sapporo is famous for; the beer, the food and the shopping.
Hokkaido, the northernmost island of Japan, is the first place to witness the autumn foliage in the country… and the Daisetsuzan National Park is the area to catch that first glimpse.
