Pulau Ubin is worlds away from the bustling city of Singapore. With its beautiful scenery, coconut trees, mangrove forests, lovely shorelines and abundant wildlife; it retains a rural and rustic village charm. A lovely place to cycle around.

I recently made a trip to Singapore (a trip I make every few years) to visit a friend– and went on a food tour. Singapore has some pretty awesome restaurants and great food. These are the 10 food experiences I had on my visit, each wonderful in its own way.
Travel Video: A compilation of all my moments in the romantic city of Paris. Enjoy!
Everytime I picture Monaco; I imagine well-dressed gamblers at Monte Carlo, parties on luxurious yachts and F1 Formula races with celebrities and stars. However, I was traveling on a budget– but that didn’t stop me from enjoying this glamorous city.
Cannes is so enchanting that from the moment you step in the town, you’ll feel like a movie-star on a holiday. After all, it is home to the Cannes International Film Festival– where its all about the glitz and glamor in the name of film-making.
I’ve always wanted to go to the French Riviera; with its gorgeous beaches, lovely weather, glamorous people, and tales of thrills and excitement depicted in films and books– especially those old classics and Bond movies. So I made a trip to Nice, and had the time of my life!
If there is one place I absolutely cannot miss while in Paris, it’s Disneyland. I just can’t resist the opportunity to be a child again– take pictures with my favorite cartoon characters, ride awesome roller coasters and feast on huge cotton candies.
Almost everyone I talked to before my trip to Paris suggested a trip to the Château de Versailles. Words used to describe it were ‘beautiful’, ‘breathtaking’, ‘magnificent’, ‘grand’… that was enough to make me allocate a whole day to visit the palace.
How do you spend a week in summer in Paris? My plan was to hit the most popular places first, and then make my way to the rest of Paris and beyond. I’m glad to say I’ve experienced Paris, and had a ball of a time.
This mist-shrouded town is blessed with cool and refreshing mountain air, gorgeous scenery and friendly people– the quiet and serene atmosphere here will give you a glimpse into life way back when. However, I made the journey specifically to see the ‘hanging coffins’.
Banaue is famous for the 2,000 year old rice terraces carved into its mountains. It’s an arduous trip to get there, but I’ve heard so much about the magnificence of the rice terraces that I had to witness it for myself.
Taal Volcano is an active volcano, said to be one of the smallest in the world. It is an interesting natural wonder– a volcano within a lake within a volcano within a lake. Hearing about this, I just had to make the journey!
Eventhough Bohol it is one of the country’s most popular islands to visit, it is still almost untouched by commercialization and still relatively unknown to the rest of the world. There are natural wonders to see, wildlife to visit and beautiful beaches to soak up the sun.
The Bohol Beach Club is blessed with gorgeous views of the sea with two distinct hues of blue, and white powdery sand. It is the perfect resort for honeymooning couples, or to get away for some alone time.
On my recent trip to Manila, I made it a point to try their local dishes and delicacies, and I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them. This is one country that really knows how to value and appreciate their food… nothing goes to waste.
Most people who visit Southeast Asia usually skip the small country Brunei Darussalam so I decided to make a visit to this wealthy country to see what it has to offer. Did you know you can spot Proboscis Monkeys here?
